VILLAGE CHOCOLATIER

Presently, the Village Chocolatier, located at 104 Newman Street, in beautiful downtown East Tawas, is owned by Norman and Marian Charters.  East Tawas is a quaint resort community located on Tawas Bay on Lake Huron in Northeastern Michigan. 

The Charters purchased the chocolate manufacturing and retail store on January 2, 2002.  Their dream for years was to own a store in the downtown area of East Tawas.  All of the owners developed an extended product line over the 25 years the store has existed.  The store has a wonderful array of chocolate delights ranging from chocolate covered fruit, truffles and creams to pretzels and molded items.  The specialty items include chocolate covered creams, truffles, and nuts that delight visitors from all over the world.  The shop receives orders from customers throughout the United States.  The owners are so thankful for their many wonderful customers and friends who have supported their 'entrepreneur' business.
